TREASURER – S A SPORTS LAW ASSOCIATION

An Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, specializing in commercial and sports law, currently practicing at an International law firm. He holds a qualification in Sports Law (UP) and is a qualified Sports Mediator (MiM), with a focus on resolving disputes and promoting ethical practices in the sports industry. 

His experience includes representing intermediaries in negotiations between agents and football clubs, ensuring compliance with SAFA regulations, and handling PSL player representations at the Dispute Resolution Chambers. He has also advised amateur sporting associations on corporate structures and drafted constitutions for sports clubs.

As an executive member of the SA Sports Law Association , Tyrel is committed to advancing sports law in South Africa and fostering international collaborations within the field.
