Niresh Loopoo is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. Since joining the Bar in 2021, he has built a practice spanning commercial, public and administrative law, while developing a specialist interest in sports law. He holds an LLB from the University of South Africa and is currently reading towards an LLM in Intellectual Property Law. He has also completed specialist training in Alternative Dispute Resolution and South African Business Rescue, and holds a Certificate in Sports Law from the University of Pretoria.

Niresh is accredited as an Arbitrator and Commercial Mediator through the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa. His memberships of INSOL International and SARIPA further underscore his broader exposure to commercial and insolvency related matters.

As a member of the Executive Committee of the South African Sports Law Association, Niresh is committed to advancing sports law through professional engagement, knowledge development, and initiatives that strengthen the relationship between sport, governance, and the law. His service on the Executive Committee of CEOs in Sport further reflects his active involvement in leadership within the broader sporting sector.
