Advocate Mpho Hlahane is a South African advocate and legal technology Specialist working at the intersection of law, AI, and civic justice.

His practice covers labour law, cybercrime & digital rights, tax law & SARS disputes, and sports law. He advises individuals, businesses, and organisations where legal precision and strategic clarity matter most.

He contributes regularly to broadcast discussions on South African law and justice, engaging the public on issues ranging from gender-based violence and labour rights to constitutional freedoms and cybercrime.

Beyond the courtroom, Advocate Hlahane builds AI-powered tools for the South African legal and tax sectors, including LexAI Research (automated legal research), ObjectionIQ (ML-based SARS objection outcome prediction), Lex-Tax (a litigation and dispute intelligence AI model) and Lex-Eval (reviews and evaluates AI-generated legal content). He also served as an AI Quality Assurance Consultant for LexisNexis, helping ensure AI-generated legal content meets the standards the profession demands.

Alongside his practice, Advocate Hlahane, also lectures law at EDUVOS and holds an LLM in Public Procurement from Stellenbosch University.

He posseses the following qualifications,  Program in Sports Law; Certificate in Football Law and Course in Sports Arbitration .
